The Patented 6 Gallon FlameFlow™ copper moonshine still is a complete, ready-to-run unit built on U.S. Patent 10,561,960. Most stills only heat the bottom of the pot. This one uses four large tubes that carry the flame up and through the still. The result is faster heat-up, more even temperature, easier heat control and less chance of scorching your mash. You get the 6 gallon pot, the cap with a temperature gauge, an upgraded 9x12 inch thumper and an upgraded 9x12 inch worm with a 3/8 inch copper coil. Each still is hand built at Fort Wilkins in Pittsfield, NH from 20 oz, 22 gauge American copper, joined with lead-free silver solder and water tested for leaks. That copper is much heavier than the thin copper on cheap imported stills, and it is backed by our lifetime warranty.

Instructions
1. Open your box.
2. Place pot on a table with temperature gage towards left hand side.
3. Take the smallest piece of the thumper with drain plug facing towards you and put to the right of the pot.
4. Take the worm which is attached to coil and put to the right of the thumper.
5. Take the cap and insert it to the top of the pot, the bottom of the cap connects by spinning the spin fittings to the left side of the thumper.
A) The seam on the top of cap should interlock with seam of the back of the pot.
6. When connecting the spin fitting, if they should leak, use thread locking tape or wheat paste. The unit also comes with an adapter piece which connects from the thumper to the worm.

How much liquid will the 6 gallon Flame Flow still produce?
A simple estimate is your mash's alcohol by volume times the amount in the pot. For example, a 6 gallon wine-strength mash at 11% ABV gives about 0.66 gallons, and a strong 30% ABV mash gives about 1.8 gallons. Your real results will depend on your mash and how you run the still.
Is it legal to own this still?
Under US federal law it is legal to buy and own a still of any size and to use it for distilled water, essential oils and similar non-alcohol uses. Distilling alcohol to drink at home is not legal without a federal permit from the TTB, even for personal use, though a free TTB fuel alcohol permit allows making ethanol for fuel. Does it come with a burner, and what heat source should I use?
The Flame Flow design works with an open flame that travels up through its four tubes, and it is built to waste less propane than a standard pot. The product description does not say a burner is included. Please call or text the owner at 1-502-337-3944 to confirm the right burner for this still.
